Our client is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader (Late Shift)
Our client is a leading logistics and warehousing firm committed to delivering excellence in service to their customers. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to join their late shift team in Ipswich.
So what does the role look like?
Regular liaison with your Manager to ensure all tasks for your shift are understood and executed effectively.
Oversee product picking, packing, loading, or unloading according to both company and customer specifications.
Ensure work is carried out to the best of each operative’s abilities.
Seek out training opportunities to maintain skills and stay updated on best practices.
Collaborate as part of a team while taking responsibility for your own and your team’s work.
Carry out all procedures safely in accordance with training and health & safety policies.
Maintain operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery, reporting faults promptly.
Ensure your team is provided with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned and undertake general warehouse tasks.
So do you have what it takes?
Ideally, experience in VNA, PPT, and Counterbalance operations.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required.
Comfortable working independently as well as leading a team.
Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
Forklift Licence and experience is essential, with previous packing experience required.
Manual handling experience and a practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work are necessary.
A full driving licence may be required for travelling between sites.

Full-time, permanent position: 42.5 hours per week, working 17:00 – 02:30hrs, Monday to Friday inclusive.
