Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives (Late Shift)

A leading warehouse and logistics firm is on the lookout for motivated Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic late shift team. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a vibrant workforce, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods while fostering an environment of collaboration and safety.

So what does the role look like?

Ensuring that products are picked, packed, loaded, or unloaded in accordance with operational and customer specifications.
Recognising the importance of quality and striving to carry out work to the best of your ability.
Actively seeking training opportunities to stay current with industry best practices.
Contributing to a team environment while taking ownership of individual tasks.
Executing all work procedures safely, in line with training received.
Adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Maintaining equipment and machinery, promptly reporting any faults.
Taking care of personal PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Performing general warehouse duties as assigned.

So do you have what it takes?

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
A keenness to work accurately with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills; a commitment to collaboration is key.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
Forklift Licence (essential) and VNA Licence; PPT Licence is desirable.
Previous packing experience is advantageous.
Experience with manual handling techniques.
A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work.
A full driving licence may be required for travel between sites.
Additional skills or experience may be beneficial and considered on application.

Here’s the package breakdown for you…

Working hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift: 5pm – 2:30am.
