Job Role: Picker Packer
Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join their thriving team in Great Blakenham. As a key player in a reputable freight forwarding and warehousing company, you will be contributing to a business committed to excellence in logistics, providing seamless solutions tailored to customer needs. So what does the role look like?
Accurately pick and pack goods for dispatch, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with company standards.
Load and unload deliveries, maintaining an organised and safe warehouse environment.
Utilise scanning technology to track inventory and shipments.
Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and maximise efficiency.
Perform routine checks on stock levels to report any discrepancies.
Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
So do you have what it takes?
Experience in a similar role of at least 1 year in the shipping or logistics sector.
Familiarity with warehousing and inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Basic IT skills, particularly with scanning equipment and stock management software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to work flexible hours, including potential 5 or 6-hour shifts, or after-school/evening hours.
