Our client is seeking an organised and meticulous Stock Controller to join an esteemed fine wine merchant in England. So what does the role look like?
Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; ensuring quantities that appear in the system are accurate.

– Planning and executing inventory audits and stock takes in line with company procedures.

– Tracking shipments, overseeing inventory audits, and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing.
– Developing inventory management procedures and best practices to achieve efficiency.

– Responsible for the identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure business goals are met.

– Forecasting future stock needs and placing orders as necessary.

So do you have what it takes?

– Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role, within the food or beverage industry would be advantageous.

– Must have at least 2 years of experience in inventory management.

– Detailed understanding of stock control procedures and best practices.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.

– Exceptional organisational and communication skills.

– Ability to work independently, meticulously and make informed decisions.

– A professional attitude with a team-oriented approach.
