Our client is seeking a HR and Health and Safety Administrator

Our client is a dynamic, privately owned warehouse and haulage company, dedicated to delivering excellence in logistics services. Renowned for their customer-focused approach and operational efficiency, they pride themselves on maintaining a supportive workplace culture that prioritises employee wellbeing. As they continue to grow, they are in need of a meticulous HR and Health and Safety Administrator to ensure their HR function and health and safety protocols are streamlined and effective.

So what does the role look like?

” Provide comprehensive HR administration support, including managing personnel files and employee records.
” Oversee the company’s insurance policies, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
” Maintain and update company health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation.
” Facilitate training sessions and workshops related to health and safety, promoting a culture of awareness and compliance.
” Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR and health and safety matters.
” Support audits and inspections related to health and safety practices.
” Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are informed on company policies and procedures.

” Proven experience in HR administration, ideally within the logistics or haulage sector.
” Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
” A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
” Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
” Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
” Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
” Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
