Warehouse Forklift Driver

Join a busy logistics operation in Great Blakenham handling daily stock movements on day shifts.

Location: Great Blakenham, Ipswich
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Opportunity

If you are an experienced counterbalance operator looking for consistent weekday hours, this is an excellent opportunity to join a solid logistics team. You will play a pivotal role in goods handling, stock management, and customer dispatch. It offers reliable, permanent work with a well-established regional logistics provider.

What you'll be doing

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and transfer goods efficiently across the facility.
• Pick, pack, and check outbound customer orders against dispatch documentation.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections and daily pre-use safety checks.
• Assist with stock control and update internal inventory systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse working environment.

What we're looking for

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Proven operational experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Reach truck licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Practical background in order picking, packing, and stock handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.

The Package

• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
