Tyre Manager - Commercial Fleet

Take full ownership of commercial tyre operations across an active truck and trailer fleet.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Tyre Manager to oversee tyre maintenance and breakdown coordination across their commercial fleet. Based from either Felixstowe or Norwich, this role is ideal for an experienced maintenance controller or tyre specialist looking for high autonomy in a busy transport environment.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee commercial tyre servicing, inspections, repairs, and replacements across the fleet.
• Authorise external supplier work and coordinate breakdown calls, communicating realistic ETAs.
• Liaise daily with operational depots, workshop technicians, and tyre service providers.
• Process supplier invoices and customer recharges while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Manage day-to-day priorities independently alongside the wider maintenance control team.

What we're looking for

• Practical working knowledge of commercial vehicle tyres.
• Background in maintenance control, tyre control, workshop control, or fleet administration.
• Strong supplier management and breakdown coordination skills.
• Experience processing supplier invoices and handling recharge administration.
• Clear communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

The Package

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Permanent, full-time position
• Choice of operating base in Felixstowe or Norwich
