Salesperson - Plant Equipment

Drive commercial growth and manage key accounts for an established plant hire specialist in Beccles.

Location: Beccles
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a proactive B2B sales professional with plant or equipment hire experience looking to take ownership of branch revenue. You will convert incoming enquiries, grow existing client relationships, and identify new business across the region. It offers an excellent platform to maximise your earning potential with strong commission and a company car.

What you'll be doing

• Convert inbound enquiries and actively identify new commercial hire opportunities.
• Manage and develop existing customer accounts to encourage repeat business.
• Negotiate hire rates and commercial terms to protect profitability.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline to consistently meet branch revenue targets.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings across the region in your company car.

What we're looking for

• Proven B2B sales track record within plant hire or equipment leasing.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate commercial hire rates and close deals.
• Strong account management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Valid UK driving licence suitable for regular site visits.

The Package

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus commission
• Company car provided
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
