Material Handler Driver

Join an established logistics operation in Ipswich handling daily warehouse movement and transport.

Location: Ipswich
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (overtime available)

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced material handler and forklift driver looking for a stable, permanent position. You will work across modern facilities to ensure freight is picked, moved, and dispatched safely and accurately. It is a key operational role within a supportive and busy logistics team.

What you'll be doing

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles safely using MHE.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately against schedule requirements.
• Transport goods and complete all Proof of Delivery paperwork correctly.
• Carry out pre-use vehicle and equipment safety checks, reporting defects promptly.
• Update the Warehouse Management System and assist with stock cycle counts.

What we're looking for

• Valid Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in MHE operation and warehouse order picking.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld scanners.
• Strong knowledge of manual handling and warehouse safety standards.

The Package

• £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
