Location: Great Blakenham, Ipswich
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 or 07:00 - 15:30

The Opportunity

You will step into a key warehouse role handling vital freight and specialist stock for a respected logistics provider. This position suits a dependable forklift operator looking for stable daytime weekday hours and a permanent contract. You will work within a supportive team committed to safety and operational quality.

What you'll be doing

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, and manoeuvre goods and palletised freight accurately.
• Handle high-care items, including white goods, to avoid stock damage.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any equipment maintenance requirements.
• Support wider warehouse operations and maintain clean, organised storage bays.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record operating counterbalance forklift trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Valid counterbalance forklift certification or licence.
• Prior experience handling white goods or fragile freight is advantageous.
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Reliable work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team.

The Package

• £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
• Permanent full-time contract
• Daytime weekday shift options: 08:00 - 16:30 or 07:00 - 15:30
