Depot Manager

Lead depot operations, fleet maintenance, and sales for an established commercial vehicle specialist in Felixstowe.

Location: Felixstowe
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm | Every third Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced manager from the commercial vehicle rental or leasing sector ready to take charge of a busy depot. You will lead site operations, oversee workshop performance, and drive commercial growth. It is a key leadership appointment with a well-established transport industry specialist.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all depot functions to ensure high service standards.
• Drive commercial vehicle sales and rental revenue while managing key customer accounts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop depot staff to maintain high operational standards.
• Manage workshop workflow, vehicle maintenance schedules, and turnaround times.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory health, safety, and transport regulations.

What we're looking for

• Substantial operational and sales experience in commercial vehicle rental or leasing.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing depot and workshop teams.
• Solid understanding of fleet maintenance and workshop operations.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in IT and industry-relevant software packages.
