Location: Great Blakenham, Ipswich
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support their busy warehouse operation in Great Blakenham. You will play a central role in eCommerce order fulfilment, safe freight movement, and vehicle turnaround. This is a secure, permanent role offering consistent Monday to Friday daytime hours.

What you'll be doing

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight safely using a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Handle all inventory accurately to maintain stock integrity across the warehouse.
• Complete daily pre-use forklift inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Collaborate with warehouse colleagues to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free working environment.
• Adhere strictly to site health and safety standards and operational procedures.

What we're looking for

• Valid, in-date counterbalance forklift licence.
• Hands-on experience working in an eCommerce warehouse environment.
• Proven track record in safe loading, unloading, and stock handling.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and equipment care.
• Clear communication skills and a reliable, team-focused approach.

The Package

• £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
• Permanent, full-time contract
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
