Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Operate counterbalance forklifts and support daily warehouse operations with an established logistics team in Felixstowe.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a dependable Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their busy warehouse operation in Felixstowe. This role is ideal for a proactive operative who is confident on the forks and happy to get involved with hands-on warehouse duties. You will join a supportive team with stable daytime working hours and performance incentives.

What you'll be doing

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to move, load, and unload freight safely.
• Carry out manual handling and handballing duties across incoming and outgoing cargo.
• Work alongside warehouse colleagues to ensure consignments are processed efficiently.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and orderly warehouse floor.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Willingness and physical capability to carry out handballing and manual loading.
• Strong teamwork and positive work ethic.
• Good awareness of warehouse safety procedures.

The Package

• £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
• Performance bonus scheme
