Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Shift work (06:00–15:00, 15:00–00:00, 21:00–06:00)

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced counterbalance driver looking for a stable, full-time position in a modern warehousing facility. You will play a key part in maintaining high-volume container throughput and dispatch schedules. It is a great opportunity to bring your forklift expertise to a well-established transport team.

What you'll be doing

• Operate counterbalance forklifts safely to load and unload containerised freight.
• Move, stage, and wrap palletised goods accurately throughout the warehouse.
• Carry out daily pre-use vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Use RF handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to record stock movements.
• Maintain clean, safe working areas in line with site health and safety standards.

What we're looking for

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Proven track record in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience using WMS software and RF barcode scanners.
• Ability to commit to rotating shift patterns.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable timekeeping.
