Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced counterbalance driver looking for a permanent position with regular weekday hours. You will play a vital part in moving, scanning, and staging freight across a modern facility. You will work within a supportive team focused on high safety and operational standards.

What you'll be doing

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Move, stage, and wrap palletised goods ready for storage and onward distribution.
• Use handheld WMS scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate operational records.
• Perform daily pre-use vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

What we're looking for

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Demonstrable experience driving counterbalance FLTs in a busy warehouse setting.
• Proficiency using handheld WMS scanners and standard logistics paperwork.
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance.
• Reliable approach with good communication skills.

The Package

• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
