Import & Export Operations Coordinator

 📦About the Role:

As an Import & Export Operations Coordinator, you’ll manage the day-to-day coordination of FCL, LCL, and airfreight shipments, ensuring smooth, compliant, and on-time movement for key account clients while maintaining accurate data and reporting across bespoke systems using strong Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 Arrange import and export bookings for FCL, LCL, and airfreight consignments with a variety of carriers
🌍 Coordinate with customers/shippers and overseas agents to ensure smooth movement of goods from origin to destination
🖥️ Enter shipment data promptly and accurately into bespoke client systems and internal platforms
☎️ Maintain close communication with clients, carriers, hauliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high service standards
📈 Utilise Microsoft Excel for data processing, reporting, and record-keeping
⏱️ Proactively identify and address potential delays, documentation issues, or operational risks
⭐ Support the key accounts team in delivering outstanding customer service

👤 About You:

🚛 Experience in import and/or export operations (FCL, LCL, and/or airfreight) within shipping or logistics is essential
🧾 Strong data entry, processing, and Microsoft Excel skills
🔍 High attention to detail and accuracy
🗣️ Excellent communication and organisational skills
⚡ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
💪 Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to high standards
