🤝 We’re looking for a proactive Fleet Manager to join a forward-thinking logistics business in Ipswich!

🧰 What You’ll Be Doing:
🚛 Overseeing day-to-day management of a diverse HGV and commercial vehicle fleet
🗂️ Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance
📅 Planning and optimising vehicle schedules, routes, and workloads for maximum efficiency
🔧 Managing maintenance, servicing, MOTs, and defect reporting to keep the fleet roadworthy
👥 Leading and developing a team of drivers and support staff
💻 Using fleet management systems to monitor performance, costs, and KPIs
🤝 Acting as the main point of contact for operational issues, breakdowns, and incident management
📊 Producing regular reports on fleet utilisation, costs, and compliance

Desirable:

🚚 CPC qualification or similar transport management certification

🛠️ Experience with both in-house and outsourced maintenance providers
