The Opportunity

Join a leading logistics team in Felixstowe focusing on yard upkeep, vehicle valeting, and regional transport. This role suits a hands-on individual with an HGV Class 1 licence who enjoys active yard work alongside occasional driving duties. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the fleet and site are maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Keep the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Valet and clean truck trailers to maintain high presentation standards.
• Manoeuvre and shunt commercial vehicles safely around the site.
• Carry out occasional regional deliveries and collections to destinations including Basildon, Norwich, and Rugby.
• Complete basic vehicle and trailer checks prior to dispatch.

What we're looking for

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Prior experience in commercial vehicle valeting or yard operations.
• Confident manoeuvring and shunting large commercial vehicles.
• Reliable, hands-on work ethic and strong attention to detail.

The Package

• £36,000 to £40,000 per annum.
• 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
• 3% employer pension contribution.
• Regular Monday to Friday day shifts.
