Vessel Operations Coordinator

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating vessel arrivals, departures, and port calls
• Acting as the main point of contact between ship crews, port authorities, and clients
• Preparing and processing shipping documentation, port paperwork, and customs entries
• Monitoring vessel schedules, tracking cargo movements, and resolving operational issues
• Providing real-time updates, responding to queries, and ensuring smooth turnaround of vessels
• Maintaining accurate operational records and updating internal systems
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service

About You

• Previous experience in vessel operations, ships agency, or shipping/logistics (essential)
• Strong understanding of port procedures, maritime documentation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident with shipping systems and MS Office
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• Team player with a can-do, solutions-focused attitude
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as vessel schedules demand

Desirable

• Knowledge of customs clearance and local port regulations
• Experience liaising directly with ship crews and international clients
