Manage live container movements and driver operations for a leading logistics team in Felixstowe.

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Opportunity

Join an established road transport operation delivering UK-wide haulage services to freight forwarders and major retail accounts. This role gives you direct control over daily traffic desks, driver coordination, and customer communications in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing

• Plan and monitor daily container movements and driver ETAs across the UK road network.
• Brief and debrief drivers daily, resolving live transit and delivery issues promptly.
• Communicate proactively with customers and depots to ensure high service standards.
• Maintain transport management systems with accurate PODs and operational notes.
• Prepare and check transport paperwork and compliance documentation.

What we're looking for

• Proven operational experience within container haulage or road transport operations.
• Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and general IT applications.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating drivers and commercial clients.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve live transport challenges under pressure.
• Solid understanding of transport documentation and POD processes.

The Package

• £35,000–£50,000 per annum depending on experience.
• Company car provided.
• Permanent, full-time contract.
