Coordinate urgent same-day and express freight movements for a growing logistics division in Felixstowe.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Opportunity

You will manage time-critical transport bookings from start to finish, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and prompt service delivery. Joining an expanding team in Felixstowe, this role offers the chance to take operational ownership and support ongoing division growth.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and oversee daily same-day and next-day urgent transport bookings.
• Maintain accurate operational records and administration for all express shipments.
• Liaise directly with drivers, clients, and suppliers to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Identify practical ways to improve operational processes and support service growth.
• Assist with the day-to-day development of the time-critical transport division.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in transport coordination, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities under time pressure.
• Clear, professional communication skills with drivers, suppliers, and customers.
• Hands-on experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and standard office software.
• A proactive approach to customer service and continuous operational improvement.
