Ships Agency Operator

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating vessel arrivals, departures, and port calls
• Acting as the main point of contact between ship crews, port authorities, and clients
• Preparing and processing port documentation, customs paperwork, and arrival/departure notices
• Arranging pilotage, towage, and other port services as required
• Responding to operational queries, resolving issues, and providing real-time updates to all parties
• Maintaining accurate records of port calls and vessel movements
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service

About You

• Previous experience in ships agency, port operations, or shipping/logistics (essential)
• Strong understanding of port procedures and maritime documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident with shipping systems and MS Office
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• Team player with a can-do, solutions-driven attitude
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as vessel schedules require

Desirable

• Knowledge of customs clearance and local port regulations
• Experience liaising directly with ship crews and international clients
