So what does the role look like?

• Handling and managing all aspects of import freight forwarding operations
• Coordinating with overseas agents, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely, efficient cargo movement
• Processing and managing shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, import declarations, customs paperwork)
• Providing excellent customer service—addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Maintaining and updating internal databases and tracking systems
• Negotiating rates with carriers and suppliers to achieve the best possible terms

Do you have what it takes?

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in import freight forwarding
• Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures
• Proficiency in IT applications relevant to the role, including MS Office
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
