Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a bright, confident Junior Commercial Assistant to join their expanding commercial department. You will receive comprehensive training to develop your commercial expertise while working closely with key accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to progress within the shipping and freight forwarding industry.

What you'll be doing

• Nurture day-to-day relationships with existing commercial clients.
• Identify and develop additional business opportunities across current and prospective accounts.
• Provide commercial support and coordination to the wider logistics team.
• Liaise directly with customers to understand their shipping requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bright, confident approach with a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Prior experience in shipping or freight forwarding is advantageous but not essential.
• Natural commercial awareness and customer support skills.

The Package

• £26,000 - £30,000 per annum.
• Permanent, full-time contract.
• Full training provided.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 working pattern.
