Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Day Shifts

The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced crusher operator who takes pride in machine care and high production standards. You will operate a McCloskey J40 jaw crusher on day shifts, running feeds, managing maintenance, and keeping downtime to a minimum.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor the McCloskey J40 jaw crusher to ensure efficient material processing.
• Control material feed using the hydraulic direct drive grizzly feeder and folding hopper.
• Monitor the 900mm main conveyor, diagnosing issues via control panel systems.
• Carry out thorough pre-start inspections and log all routine maintenance tasks.
• Uphold rigorous site health and safety standards across your working area.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record operating mobile crushing plant, ideally jaw crushers.
• Practical understanding of plant mechanics and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Experience completing daily pre-start checks and logging plant maintenance.
• Strong awareness of site safety and working compliance.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently on site.

The Package

• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Full-time, day shift pattern
