Import Operations Coordinator

Coordinate end-to-end multi-modal import operations in a fast-paced logistics team in Felixstowe.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

This role suits an experienced freight forwarder who thrives on managing multi-modal shipments from origin to delivery. Joining an established logistics team in Felixstowe, you will handle key accounts across ocean and airfreight movements. What you'll be doing

• Arrange and manage import bookings across FCL, LCL, and airfreight modes with carriers.
• Coordinate directly with customers, overseas agents, shippers, and hauliers from origin through to final delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipment records across internal operating systems and customer portals.
• Troubleshoot operational delays, documentation discrepancies, and transit issues promptly.
• Generate operational reports and process tracking data using Microsoft Excel.

What we're looking for

• Proven import operations experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Working knowledge of ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and airfreight procedures.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
