The Opportunity

Join an established haulage and logistics team operating out of Felixstowe. This role suits an experienced Class 1 driver looking for stable night work, modern vehicles, and dedicated operational support. You will play a key role in keeping essential supply chains moving smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely across assigned local and national night routes.
• Ensure all freight and containers are secured correctly before departure.
• Complete thorough daily walkaround vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Maintain strict compliance with UK tachograph rules and drivers' hours regulations.
• Communicate clearly with the transport planning desk throughout your shift.

What we're looking for

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven commercial Class 1 driving experience, ideally on night runs.
• Container transport or port haulage experience is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to road safety, punctuality, and vehicle care.
