Manage complete freight forwarding operations from initial quote to final delivery in Felixstowe.

Location: Felixstowe
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

The Opportunity

Join an established logistics team where you will take ownership of shipments from start to finish. This role suits an experienced freight forwarder who enjoys full operational variety across quoting, customs clearance, and transport coordination. You will work on site in Felixstowe within a collaborative, fast-paced office environment.

What you'll be doing

• Manage shipments end-to-end from initial booking through to final delivery.
• Prepare and issue competitive freight quotations to customers.
• Process inbound customs clearance accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate warehousing requirements and onward haulage arrangements.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and transport partners throughout transit.

What we're looking for

• Solid background working within freight forwarding operations.
• Hands-on experience handling inbound customs clearance procedures.
• Proven ability to manage the full operational cycle from quotation to delivery.
• Familiarity with coordinating warehousing and transport logistics.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

The Package

• £32,000 - £40,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
• 3% employer pension contribution
• Performance bonus scheme
