What You’ll Be Doing

• Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
• Building and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
• Negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve ambitious sales targets
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
• Maintaining accurate records of sales activity, leads, and pipeline progress

About You

• Proven experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping (essential)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and international logistics
• Confident using CRM systems and MS Office
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Solutions-focused, resilient, and always looking for new opportunities

Desirable

• Experience working with both sea and road freight
• Established network of industry contacts
