Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you experienced in freight forwarding and ready to take on more responsibility? Join a leading team in Felixstowe as a Freight Forwarder – Quotations & Operations Coordinator. You’ll play a vital role in keeping international trade moving by managing quotations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth customs clearances for sea, air, and road freight.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate, competitive freight quotations for import and export shipments
• Coordinate daily operations for sea, air, and road freight
• Manage customs documentation and clearances
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and outstanding service
• Handle all shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading, invoices, and packing lists
• Liaise with carriers, hauliers, and third-party suppliers to keep shipments on track
• Troubleshoot delays and resolve operational issues
• Stay up to date with the latest trade and customs regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally with both imports/exports and customs
• Strong knowledge of sea, air, and road freight operations
• Confident preparing quotations and managing shipment costs
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Excellent communicator and team player
• Skilled with freight software and MS Office
• Knowledge of Felixstowe port is a strong advantage
