You will step into a vital position driving fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and high safety standards across the operation. It is an excellent opportunity to manage a modern transport setup with strong commercial backing.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the daily scheduling, maintenance programmes, and roadworthiness of the commercial vehicle fleet.
• Ensure strict adherence to UK transport legislation, driver hours, and compliance standards.
• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage drivers and support personnel.
• Coordinate routine servicing, MOTs, defect reporting, and breakdown responses.
• Utilise fleet tracking systems to monitor utilisation, operational costs, and safety metrics.
• Optimise routes and vehicle allocation to maximise operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Proven background in commercial vehicle or HGV fleet management.
• Strong working knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated experience managing drivers and transport teams.
• Proficiency with modern fleet management and tracking software.
• Transport Manager CPC qualification is desirable.

The Package

• £50,000 per annum.
