Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, standard office hours

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an organised professional with shipping or logistics experience looking to take ownership of end-to-end documentation workflows. You will work within a busy team handling key cargo movements, customs paperwork, and client communications. It offers long-term stability and genuine opportunities for professional development.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation for import and export consignments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all freight movements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customers to secure required paperwork.
• Check documentation thoroughly against regulatory guidelines and customer specifications.
• Work closely with internal operational teams to ensure timely cargo transit.
• Resolve documentation queries quickly to avoid port and shipping delays.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a shipping, logistics, or freight documentation role.
• Working knowledge of Bills of Lading, customs entries, and shipping paperwork.
• Proficiency with MS Office and industry logistics software.
• High level of accuracy and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively under operational deadlines.
