Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join their team in Great Blakenham on an initial one-month assignment with potential to go permanent. You will take ownership of everyday declarations, processing both home use and bonded entries. This is an ideal opening for a competent customs clerk looking to step straight into a supportive transport operation.

What you'll be doing

• Process import and export customs declarations in compliance with HMRC standards.
• Complete standard home use entries and bonded warehouse entries accurately.
• Liaise with operational teams, hauliers, and customers to resolve clearance queries.
• Verify entry documentation and ensure records are maintained correctly.
• Operate customs and freight systems to keep shipments moving efficiently.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated practical experience processing UK customs entries.
• Working knowledge of both home use entries and bonded entries.
• Familiarity with MultiFreight, MultiSep, or Duty Declared is advantageous.
• Sound understanding of HMRC compliance and entry procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

The Package

• £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (pro rata)
• Initial 1-month contract with potential to become permanent
• Full-time weekday hours from 08:00 to 16:30
