The Opportunity

This role suits an experienced road freight operator looking to manage high-volume cross-border transport across multiple modes. You will take ownership of key client accounts, coordinate European haulage, and ensure smooth transit across UK-EU routes. What you'll be doing

• Coordinate UK to mainland Europe freight movements across FTL, LTL, groupage, and intermodal transport.
• Act as the main operational contact for key client accounts and transport suppliers.
• Track shipments proactively and resolve operational delays or routing issues quickly.
• Ensure all transport operations comply with cross-border regulations and customs requirements.
• Work closely with hauliers and internal teams to maintain high service standards.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated operational experience in European road freight, including FTL, LTL, or groupage.
• Practical understanding of post-Brexit cross-border transport and customs documentation.
• Proficiency using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and standard logistics software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with carriers and clients.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume daily workloads under pressure.
