Sales & Business Development Executive – Great Blakenham
Location: Great Blakenham
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:15)
Contract: Permanent, Hybrid (approx. 3 days remote/field, 2 days office-based)
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a proactive, results-driven sales professional ready to take on a new challenge? Join our team in Great Blakenham as a Sales & Business Development Executive. You’ll play a key role in generating new business, managing the full sales cycle, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers across the region.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage the entire sales process—from lead generation to closing deals
  • Create and deliver tailored proposals to meet client needs
  • Respond promptly to tenders and information requests
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales activity
  • Work closely with managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Attend site visits, ensuring compliance and understanding client requirements
  • Proactively identify and manage commercial risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding
  • Handle contract terminations to maximise client retention
  • Generate and secure regional service contracts (Trade, Skip & RORO, Confidential Waste, Artic collections)

About You:
  • Positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Willing to support office-based sales roles during team absences
  • Proactive approach, always looking for new opportunities
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of the Waste Management & Recycling industry
  • Team player, eager to learn and grow in a fast-evolving sector
