About the Role:

📈 Owning and delivering the commercial strategy across freight forwarding and logistics technology solutions

🔎 Identifying and securing new business opportunities across import/export, road, sea, air, and contract logistics (as relevant)

🤝 Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key accounts, partners, and strategic prospects

🚀 Developing and executing commercial strategies to grow revenue and market share

✍️ Leading tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations to win and retain profitable business

📊 Analysing market trends and competitor activity to keep us ahead of the game

⚙️ Collaborating with operations, finance, product/tech, and management to deliver top-notch service

🎯 Managing and developing the commercial/sales function (where applicable), setting targets and driving performance

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Proven experience in senior commercial, sales leadership, or business development roles within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain technology

💷 Sharp commercial acumen and a strong track record of delivering revenue growth

🤝 Strong negotiation skills with experience closing complex, high-value deals

🗣️ Excellent communication and presentation skills

🔗 Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners

📌 Analytical mindset with a focus on results, forecasting, and profitability

💻 Confident using CRM and logistics/forwarding systems (or logistics SaaS platforms)

🚗 Full UK Driving Licence (Preferred)
