Key Responsibilities:

 🔍Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment

 🛠️Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of machinery, both on-site and in the workshop

📝Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs to ensure compliance with industry standards

🧰Assist with preparing equipment for hire and inspecting it upon return

🗂️Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed

👥Support the logistics team with equipment deliveries and pick-ups as needed

🫶Work closely with colleagues to uphold high standards of safety and efficiency

What we’re looking for

✅ Relevant experience as a Plant Fitter or in a similar maintenance role (plant hire, construction, or heavy machinery industry preferred)

🚜 At least 3 years’ hands-on experience with equipment such as excavators, diggers, and site machinery

⚡ Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

💻 Confident IT skills, including use of maintenance management systems

🔍 Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

🙋‍♀️ Great communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork and client liaison

🪪 Full driving licence is essential; CPCS/NPORS qualifications are a bonus!
