We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Maintenance Controller to manage defect triage, tyre lifecycle, repair authorisations, and supplier coordination. If you love solving problems, reducing downtime, and keeping operations moving, this could be your perfect next move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🔧 Triage defects from drivers/telematics and authorise repairs within limits
🧰 Coordinate workshops, mobile mechanics, and tyre partners to minimise VOR
🛞 Manage tyre inspections, repairs, rotations, replacements, and casing returns
📅 Track PMIs, MOT prep, service schedules, and compliance documentation
📉 Control costs, challenge quotes, and utilise warranties/recalls
✅ Maintain accurate records and keep stakeholders updated on ETAs and job status

About You:

🧑‍🔧 Experience in maintenance control, workshop control, service advising, or fleet admin
🛞 Strong tyre knowledge and solid mechanical understanding (brakes, suspension, steering, electrics)
🤝 Excellent supplier management, negotiation, and good communication skills with Drivers, other Depots, Technicians and Customers
💻 Comfortable using fleet maintenance/telematics systems and MS Office/Google Suite

 🧭 Ability to work lone/solo confidently, staying proactive, safe, and accountable without direct supervision.
