🗂️ Logistics Manager
📍 Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

🫶 Full time, Permanent

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to build a career in logistics?
📦 We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to support day-to-day logistics operations, keeping shipments moving smoothly.
📞 You’ll be the link between customers, hauliers/drivers, warehouses and internal teams—making sure everything is booked, tracked, and resolved quickly when issues pop up.

Key Responsibilities:

🛒 Manage purchasing and order fulfilment to meet vessel schedules and company procedures.

🌍 Coordinate global logistics and documentation with suppliers, forwarders, shipping lines and port agents.

🛃 Support import/export and customs compliance (DDP/DAP/T1), including local restrictions and certification.

📦 Maintain stock accuracy, goods-in checks, and purchasing/supplier product data.

🧾 Resolve order discrepancies and invoice queries, and support/lead team performance and training.

What we’re looking for:
🎓 GCSEs (A–C) incl. Maths & English (or equivalent)

💻 Confident with MS Office and quick to learn new IT systems

🔍 Strong attention to detail and accurate order/data management

🛠️ Proactive problem-solver, calm under pressure in fast-paced environments

⏱️ Strong prioritisation and deadline management with a sense of urgency

🗣️ Clear communicator with a confident phone manner and customer-first approach

✈️ Willing to travel when required
