BASIC Based on up to 55 hours per week (11 Hrs a day)

£14.50 per hour

OVERTIME RATE

Paid for hours worked beyond 11 a day Mon–

MEAL ALLOWANCE

TAX Free £10.00 per day

NIGHT OUT ALLOWANCE

TAX Free £26.20 per night

OVERTIME Weekend/Bank

Holiday £17.50 per hour

Role Overview LME Recruitment is searching for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a busy logistics team in Ipswich. If you’re happy with tramping (nights out), take pride in safe, on-time deliveries, and want steady work, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Transporting goods nationwide

Carrying out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks

Coordinating with the transport office for route planning

and delivery schedules

Keeping accurate logbooks, delivery records, and

paperwork

Securing loads and ensuring all cargo is transported safely

Following all safety regulations and maintaining a safety-

first attitude

Providing friendly, professional customer service at every

delivery point

Looking after your vehicle, both inside and out

Working Hours: Tramping shifts, Monday to Friday
