π The role
π¦ Weβre recruiting an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a busy and growing operations team.
π οΈ This is a hands-on role where youβll manage shipments from start to finish, coordinating import and export movements across sea, air and road.
β±οΈ Youβll ensure every consignment is handled efficiently, compliantly and on schedule, while providing a consistently strong service to customers.
β Key responsibilities
π Manage end-to-end import/export shipments (sea, air, road), including EU movements (FTL/LTL/groupage/intermodal).
π Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents and suppliers, acting as the main point of contact for clients.
π Prepare and process all documentation (B/L, customs entries, etc.), keeping accurate, audit-ready records.
π Track shipments, resolve issues quickly, and provide clear customer updates.
βοΈ Ensure full compliance with regulations and internal procedures while supporting the wider team.
π° Quote and negotiate freight rates, and help drive process improvements to support growth.
π€ About you
β
Proven experience in freight forwarding (import/export; multimodal experience preferred).
π¦ Strong understanding of customs processes and shipping documentation.
π£οΈ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
β‘ Able to prioritise and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
π― Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-driven.
π» Confident IT user (experience with forwarding/freight systems is an advantage).
