๐ HGV Class 1 Driver with Heavy Plant Experience Wanted! ๐
Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver with heavy plant experience to join their growing team at their Beccles depot. Renowned for top-quality service, they supply a wide range of machinery for hireโcrushers, screeners, dumpers, loading shovels, rollers, and various excavators with attachments. This is your chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly impacts success.
๐ What you'll be doing:
- ๐ Safely transport heavy plant machinery to and from customer sites
- ๐ ๏ธ Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- ๐ค Collaborate with the ops team to schedule and organise deliveries
- ๐ Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and documentation
- ๐๏ธ Assist with loading/unloading and secure all cargo properly
- ๐ฆบ Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture
- ๐ Deliver exceptional customer service on site

What youโll need:
- ๐ชช Valid HGV Class 1 licence (min. 2 yearsโ experience)
- ๐ Experience operating and transporting heavy plant machinery
- ๐ Strong knowledge of transport legislation & health & safety
- ๐ Valid CPC & Digicard
- ๐ Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Great communication skills for engaging with customers and team
- ๐ง Basic vehicle maintenance & troubleshooting experience
- ๐บ๏ธ Confident using GPS and route-planning software
