LME Recruitment Limited is a modern, tech-driven, and forward-thinking recruitment agency specialising in shipping and logistics. We’re looking for a proactive Transport Coordinator to help drive a fast-paced, urgent same/next day transport service for one of our innovative clients.
About the Role:
As a Transport Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the daily operations and administration of urgent, time-critical transport services. You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery for clients, while also championing the growth and development of this energetic and rapidly expanding division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily same/next day urgent transport bookings and operations 🚛
- Manage administration and ensure accurate record-keeping for all express shipments 🗂️
- Liaise with drivers, clients, and suppliers to guarantee prompt, reliable service 🤝
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and growth 📈
- Support the ongoing development and expansion of the urgent transport service
About You:
- Experience in transport coordination, logistics, or urgent/same-day delivery is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills—confident liaising with clients, drivers, and colleagues 📞
- Positive, proactive mindset with a passion for growth and innovation
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital systems and transport management platforms 💻
