Customer Service Representative (Temporary to Permanent) – Felixstowe π¦β¨
Are you a people person who loves solving problems? π Ready to jump into the world of shipping and logistics? π’ We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Customer Service Representative to join a busy logistics team in Felixstowe on a temp-to-perm basis!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- βοΈ Handling inbound calls and emails, delivering top-notch service every time
- π Processing bookings, updating shipment statuses, and resolving queries quickly
- π€ Working closely with internal teams and external partners to keep cargo moving smoothly
- π Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- π Supporting customers from booking all the way to delivery
- β‘ Spotting and escalating any service issues to the right team
About You:
- π’ Previous experience in customer service or admin (bonus if it’s in logistics, transport, or shipping!)
- π£οΈ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- π§ Attention to detail and a positive, problem-solving attitude
- π» Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new systems
- π€ Team player with a can-do approach
Desirable:
- π Some shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics experience is a big plus!
