Job Description

We have an ongoing need to fill Forklift Drivers in the Felixstowe area, you must hold a valid RTITB Licence and be able to provide proof of this.

Duties may include:

– Operate forklift to load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas

– Move materials within the warehouse using forklift

– Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to prevent damage

– Perform equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs

– Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

– Use warehouse management system to track inventory and locate materials

– Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed

We need you to have the below skills:

– Proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment

– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

– Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures

– Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance

– Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes

– Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking

– Basic math skills for inventory calculations
