Job Description
Our client is an established firm working within the logistics industry for over 40 years, this is a company which has grown steadily and expanded their reach of supply chains as they have grown. They pride themselves in the relationships they have with their customers and attribute this to their success. They are looking to bring on a Business Development Manager to help grow and expand the company reach further.
Responsibilities
:
Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts in order to identify new opportunities within our current customer base
.
Identify new business opportunities within current customer base
Negotiate contracts with potential clients in order to close deals
Analyse market data in order to identify trends or opportunities that can lead to new sales opportunities
Prepare proposals or presentations based on current data in order to present it to potential clients
Build relationships with key contacts at potential clients in order to develop new business within our current customer base
Maintain records of all sales activities and sales leads in CRM software system or other system that supports sales operations
Follow up with potential clients after closing deals in order to ensure satisfaction with services provided
The ideal candidate will have experience within Sea, Air and Road Freight sales as well as business development, be a friendly and approachable candidate who can successfully integrate into this brilliant team.
