📦Job Title:  Junior Transport operator

📍Location: Felixstowe

✅Hours 08:00 – 17:00 

🚀 Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

🗺️ Support daily planning and allocating work

📦 Book collections/deliveries and brief drivers/hauliers

⏱️ Track jobs/ETAs, manage delays, update customers

💻 Keep TMS/WMS, PODs and paperwork accurate/compliant

🤝 Liaise with customers, depots and subcontractors to hit service levels

Key Responsibilities:

🧩 Help organise the day’s workload so vehicles and drivers are utilised efficiently

📞 Confirm pick-ups/drop-offs and pass full job details to the people completing the work

🔍 Keep an eye on progress throughout the day, stepping in quickly when timings slip

🗂️ Ensure all job information and proof of delivery is recorded correctly on the system

📄 Produce and check daily run sheets and supporting documents

🤝 Keep communication flowing between the office, customers and external partners to maintain service standards

What we’re looking for:

🚚 Logistics/transport/warehouse ops experience

🗣️ Confident, professional communicator (phone/email)

🧠 Organised, detail-focused, able to prioritise

🖥️ Strong IT skills; quick to learn systems

🔎 Proactive team player
