So what does the role look like?

🚢 Handling and managing all aspects of import freight forwarding operations
🌍 Coordinating with overseas agents, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely, efficient cargo movement
📄 Processing and managing shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, import declarations, customs paperwork)
🤝 Providing excellent customer service—addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly
🛃 Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
💻 Maintaining and updating internal databases and tracking systems
💬 Negotiating rates with carriers and suppliers to achieve the best possible terms

Do you have what it takes?

✅ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in import freight forwarding
🚛 Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures
💻 Proficiency in IT applications relevant to the role, including MS Office
🗂️ Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
🗣️ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
🧐 Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation
🤗 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
