About the Role 💼

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Rentals Operator to join our friendly team in Beccles. If you love keeping equipment running smoothly, coordinating rentals, and making sure customers get top service, this could be your next move!

You’ll need

🧑‍🔧 Experience in plant, machinery, or equipment maintenance
🛠️ Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
🤝 Strong communication skills for customers, drivers, and team
💻 Confident using booking or maintenance systems and basic IT
🧭 Organised, reliable, and able to work independently

What You’ll Be Doing:

🔧 Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on plant machinery
📦 Prepare and check equipment for hire and returns
🚚 Organise deliveries, collections, and on-site swaps
📅 Track service schedules and ensure compliance paperwork is up to date
🤝 Liaise with customers, drivers, and suppliers to keep everything moving
✅ Keep accurate records and report any issues quickly

About You:

🧑‍🔧 Background in maintaining plant, machinery or equipment
🛠️ Solid mechanical and electrical skills
🤝 Confident communicator—easy to work with customers and the team
💻 Comfortable using booking/maintenance systems and basic IT
🧭 Reliable, organised, and able to work solo when needed
