Maintenance & Rentals Operator – Beccles
Location: Beccles
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machinery in top shape? We’re looking for a Maintenance & Rentals Operator to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. If you enjoy a mix of technical work, customer service, and coordination, this could be the perfect next step for you.
What You’ll Do:
  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on plant machinery and equipment
  • Prepare, check, and organise equipment for hire and returns
  • Coordinate deliveries, collections, and on-site swaps to meet customer needs
  • Track service schedules, keep compliance paperwork up to date, and ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Liaise with customers, drivers, and suppliers to resolve queries and keep operations moving
  • Maintain accurate records and report any issues promptly
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience maintaining plant, machinery, or equipment (mechanical and electrical skills essential)
  • Strong communication skills for working with customers, drivers, and team members
  • Confident using booking/maintenance systems and basic IT tools
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently
