Payment Details Rate

BASIC Based on up to 55 hours per week (11 Hrs a day) £14.50 per hour

OVERTIME RATE

Paid for hours worked beyond 11 a day Mon–Fri

and Saturday -Min 10 hours Saturday if

delivering a job, min 4 hours if just running in.

£18.75 per hour

ENHANCED OVERTIME

Sundays and Bank Holidays £18.75 per hour

NIGHT OUT ALLOWANCE

TAX Free £26.20 per night

MEAL ALLOWANCE

Paid per working day, TAX Free £10 per day

EXTRAS Twins/Splitter Trailer £20.00 per day

Role Overview LME Recruitment is searching for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our busy logistics team in Ipswich. If you prefer working through the night, value being home every morning, and pride yourself on delivering goods safely and on time, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Be Doing Transporting goods nationwide during night shifts Carrying out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks Coordinating with the transport office for route

planning and delivery schedules Keeping accurate logbooks, delivery records, and

paperwork Securing loads and ensuring all cargo is transported

safely Following all safety regulations and maintaining a

safety-first attitude Providing friendly, professional customer service at

every delivery point Looking after your vehicle, both inside and out

Working Hours: Night shifts, Monday to Friday Holiday Allowance: 33 days annual leave (inclusive of

bank holidays, rising with length of service)
